Aila Jubany

In the last “Joya” fair we saw jewels by Aila Jubany that were part of her solo “Sirk” exhibition.
Sirk is the result of squeezing emotions, new and old pieces of knowledge, playing with materials and taking risks from an alternative point of view. Her work is inspired in the change that Cirque du Soleil introduced in the traditional patterns of circus: physically different but at the same time, aiming to fascinate the audience. Her pieces are big but also light and flexible, physically and visually, that create a space full of subtle movements, surrounded by light and colour.

A la passada edició de la fira “Joya” vàrem poder veure les joies de l’Aila Jubany que formaven part de l’exposició “Sirk”.
Sirk és el resultat d’exprimir sensacions, coneixements, nous i vells. El resultat de jugar amb el material i buscar un punt de risc alternatiu. Inspirat en la transformació que el Cirque du Soleil aporta al circ tradicional, físicament diferent però amb el mateix objectiu de meravellar el públic. Peces grans però lleugeres i àgils, físicament i visual, que creen un espai ple de moviments subtils, envoltat de punts de llum i color.

    oooh !! contenta de ver que le haces un …homenaje ! :-))
    le he comprado su 1er joya, un "pendiente" de oreja que te queda en todo el lado de la cabeza, un ENCANTO !!! me siento MUY ORGULLOSA de haber comprado su 1era pieza !! :-))))))
