Naomi Filmer




A a través d’una recomanació de la Marta Miguel he visitat el web d’aquesta artista i el seu treball m’ha intrigat. Emfatitza determinades parts del cos humà amb elements que no estan pensats per adornar sinó per captar la nostra atenció i convertir allò que ens és quotidià amb una cosa diferent. Actualment participa en l’exposició “Out of the Ordinary: Spectacular Craft” que està voltant pel Regne Unit fins el 2010.

Upon the recommendation of Marta Miguel, I visited the website of this artist and her work intrigued me. She emphasizes certain body parts, using elements not for adornment but to capture our attention. She takes the familiar, abstracts it, and makes it strange. She participates in “Out of the Ordinary: Spectacular Craft”, a V&A and Crafts Council exhibition touring the UK until 2010.
