Barbara Smith




La visita a l’exposició online e-merge no et deixa indiferent. Aquesta joiera n’és una de les participants i en cercar d’ella més informació he vist les fotografies que té pejades al Flickr on es mostra el procés d’elaboració d’algunes peces i se’n veuen detalls. Apareixen sovint cabells i filaments que s’entortolliguen a estructures o amaguen algun secret. Les formes que utilitza, els colors i el contrast de materials m’han encuriosit a descobrir més coses de la seva feina.

    Dear Montserrat!

    When I see the entire beautiful and interesting mixed media jewellery piece you add to your blog, I really, really want to do my own things!
    But as you know, for the moment I teaching others to do their things, so my time is limit, and for the moment it sucks!
    I want work my own things, I got so many ideas that I want to try… but it have to wait, I have to do it later on, in the beginning of next year I hope.

    May be I need Christmas holiday already, to recover and get new energy to my own work and my own time?!

    I’m so glad for your friendship and all the things you found in the cyber space an d share with us other, it’s a waterhole in the desert!
